Recently there has been an exciting new development in our overseas missions activities. In January-February 2004, our Senior Pastor, Steve Huntly, accompanied by our Missions Co-ordinator, Peter Smith, made a successful visit to Andhra Pradesh in India.

A three-day Pastor's Conference was held in Anakapalli followed by a tent campaign when many turned to Christ. Visits were also made to a number of village and tribal locations. Brief visits were also made to the towns of Bapatla, Eluru and Machilipatnam

.

Following a visit to the offices of 'Gospel to the Nations' in Kakinada, we formally entered into 'Links of Fellowship' with this growing network of pastors and churches and with Elim International Church, Ipswich. The 'Gospel to the Nations' network comprises of more than one thousand pastors and churches throughout the States of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa and embraces approximately 95,600 believers. More churches around Chennai and New Delhi are applying to join the network. It is planned to conduct more Pastor's Conferences and Gospel campaigns in the future.

While visiting the market town of Ravulapalem a children's home was officially opened which now bears the name the Stephen D. & Maureen Huntly children's home.  As a church we are raising funds to support the Home which houses, clothes, feeds and educates fifty children. The director of the children's home is Mr. Sridhar Gollapalli with his wife Swrpa.

Please contact us if you would like more information about this exciting development in our church's ministry, or if you would like to sponsor an orphan child.
