It is the vision of Ipswich International Church to seek to fulfil the great commission of the lord Jesus Christ encapsulated in Mathew 28 vs.26:- “go and make disciples of all nations”. Twenty-six nations are already represented in our congregation  - and we are also forging links with Christian leaders in other countries, such as India, Malawi, Indonesia and Ghana.   Our strategy for achieving our aim is twofold.

  1. Jesus said: you will receive power when the holy spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (acts 1 vs.8). Empowered by the Hole Spirit we seek to reach out with the gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ in Ipswich which is equivalent to our Jerusalem, in Suffolk - which is our Judea, the UK – which is like our Samaria and, the world - we already have links in Brazil, Ghana, India, Malawi and Nigeria.
  2. The second part of our strategy is based upon Ephesians 4 vs. 11 - 13 The risen Christ has given minister gifts to the church of apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists “to prepare (or equip) Gods people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up”.

In this way we are “raising leaders and  discipling the  nations”. The recognition and development of leaders is achieved through one on one encounters, by small group teaching, by participation in conferences and seminars and through our own bible school.
